                         Thoracic Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities:
A Thoracic surgeon is a medical doctor who performs operation on the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in the chest. This also includes surgeons who can be called cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiovascular surgeons, general thoracic surgeons, and congenital heart surgeons.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Radiologic technologist perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as x-rays, on patients. They adjust and maintain imaging equipment. They also protect the patients by shielding exposed areas that do not need to be imaged.

An associate’s degree is the most common educational path for radiologic and MRI technologist. Technologist must be licensed or certified in some states; requirements vary by state.
