Occuational Therapist are people who help patients who are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled adjust to handicaps regain abilities to preform daily living and self-care skills. They work as part of a team with physicians, counselors, and physical therapists.

Educational Requirements:

Students that want to be a occupatinal therapist should take the most challenging high school math, science, and English courses. you also need a either a bachelor’s or a master degree that include clinical experience.
Reflection: I wouldn’t want to be a occupational therapist because it’s not really what I want to be! J

Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Nursing Home Administrator plan and direct operations of nursing homes and long-terms care facilities. They supervise personnel, financial, medical and nursing and ministration. Most work in nursing homes, but some work for large part that control many facilities. Some are also involved in teaching and research.

Average Salary: $40,000-$55,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should very hard high school courses in business, science, math, and English. They must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing home administrator. You also have to pass a comprehensive examination.

              Monday Assembly:

What I saw in the assembly was that all the teachers were making fun of the student well the ones that act like they don’t care about school. Well the teachers where pretty funny I was laughing the whole time. The assembly was about students needing to be more respectful to others, your classmates, and to your teachers. You must be on time because you might miss something important on an exam. As well as, wearing the correct uniform and not wearing something inappropriate. You should not throw things at your classmates if they get something right. You shouldn't push people in the hallways, you shouldn't tag the hallways. You need to turn in your homework on time and not come to school with food.

Define Pyramid Healing: Pyramid Healing is an alternative healing practice that is based on the concept that the shape of the pyramid provides a means of tapping into the healing energy that surrounds every living thing.

Aspects of Pyramid Healing: Some parts to it heal such aliments as general fatigue, depression, anxiety, tension, and even the common cold.

Reflection: Um.. well I think I would like to try this because what if I were to get a cold and have no cure for it only the pyramid would help. So I guess I would like to try it.

Glenn was a guy that was in a school accident when he was 8, the school got on fire and his older brother that was also in that school sadly died from the school fireL the doctors had told Glenn’s parents that they were going to cut off his leg Glenn was so sad he didn’t want to but his legs were all burned, doctored said that he might never walk again. They took him to therapy he wanted to walk and after that he was able to walk again even run! J He always had a positive attitude he knew that he was going to be able to walk again. He was one of the many athletes who broke the world record in the Olympics.

       Monitor Surveillance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor surveillance technicians observe the electrical activity of heartbeats which is graphically displayed on a series of monitors in cardiac care units of hospital. They examine these patterns and provide they result to physicians and nursing staff.

Educational Requirements:
Student wanting to become Monitor Surveillance Technicians should take math, science, and computer technology course in high school. You have to graduate from high school and enroll in training programs.
Reflection: I would like to be this it seems like a really interesting job and they get paid really good.!!!

Health Sciences Librarians collect and organized medical information and help practitioners find the information they need for patient care, education, research, and administration. They coordinate and control budgets and supervise library technicians.

$20,000-$30,000 (Library Technicians)
$35,000-$55,000(Librarians)
Educational Requirements:Students should take challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English. Some provide on the job training, but all prefer that students complete library technician programs at a community college or technical school. Associate’s degrees can be earned in many of these programs.
Reflection: I would not like to be a health science librarian because it sounds like a boring job and I would really in join my job I want something that I would be proud to be !!! J

 Assignment:

For my 3-week Christmas Break I didn’t do anything I stayed home watch some movies and eat the whole day! Some of the days my novio would come over to my house nd be would help me with my hw I didn’t really had much and then he would take me out to eat. For new years I wanted to be with my boyfriend but sadly I couldn’t so I stayed home and eat some Mac Donald’s and fell asleep at 9 I was so mad nd sad so I didn’t want to stay up till new year. This is pretty mush what I didn’t for my Christmas Break.!!!!!! J

Reflection: I think this quote means that you have to go through the difficult things in your life for you could be grateful and successful in life, your just not born to be someone who’s perfect no one perfect you have to get there to be successful.

Clinical laboratory specialist use microscopes, laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers to prepare culture media. They conduct tests and prepare reports for clinical technologist or physicians.

Educational Requirements:
Student should take the most challenging high school course in science, math, and English. An associate’s degree in field or completion of a specialized in-house training program is required to become a clinical laboratory technician.
Reflection:  I would not like to be a Clinical Laboratory Specialist because It’s not really my thing and plus I think they get paid too little for such a really good and interesting job.
