Duties and Responsibilities:Radiologic technologist perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as x-rays, on patients. They adjust and maintain imaging equipment. They also protect the patients by shielding exposed areas that do not need to be imaged.
Average Salary: $54,620
Educational Requirement:
An associate’s degree is the most common educational path for radiologic and MRI technologist. Technologist must be licensed or certified in some states; requirements vary by state. They also need to have a clinical training the coursework include anatomy, pathology, patient care, radiation physics and protection, and image evaluation.
